Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using FlipForge ("the Product"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Product.

2. License Grant

FlipForge is distributed under the Envato Market licensing model. Your license type determines your permitted usage:

Regular License ($49)

• Use in a single end product for yourself or a single client
• The end product cannot be sold to end users or offered as a paid service
• You may modify the source code for your project
• You cannot redistribute the original or modified source code

Extended License ($149)

• Use in a single end product that end users may be charged to access
• Suitable for SaaS applications where users pay for the flipbook service
• Unlimited end users of your deployed product
• You may modify the source code for your product
• You cannot redistribute the original source code separately

Agency License ($299)

• Use in unlimited client projects
• Full white-label rights — remove all FlipForge branding
• Deploy for unlimited clients
• All Extended License rights included

3. Permitted Uses

• Deploy FlipForge on your own server or hosting
• Modify the source code to fit your needs
• Use in personal, commercial, or client projects (per your license)
• Integrate with your backend systems and APIs
• Create derivative works for your end product

4. Prohibited Uses

• Redistribute, resell, or share the source code (original or modified) as a standalone product
• Offer the source code as a free download
• Use in multiple end products without separate licenses (Regular/Extended only)
• Claim the original design and code as your own work for resale on marketplaces
• Remove license verification or attribution where required (Regular License)
• Use for illegal, harmful, or unethical purposes

5. Intellectual Property

FlipForge and its original source code, design, and documentation are the intellectual property of the author. Your purchase grants you a license to use the Product — it does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.

Third-party libraries used in FlipForge (PDF.js, Inter font) retain their respective licenses (Apache 2.0 and SIL Open Font License).

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Product is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that the Product will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the author be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product license.

8. Support Policy

• Regular License: 6 months of support from purchase date
• Extended License: 12 months of support from purchase date
• Agency License: Lifetime support

Support includes: bug fixes, help with included features, and basic customization guidance. Support does not include: custom development, third-party integration debugging, or server configuration.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with an updated date. Continued use of the Product after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
